Yes, I’m crazy to even be awake right now. I’ve been up since 5am thinking of last minute things to bring to the Pet Event today and am completely exhausted. And yet I’m pulling images to blog and baking more cupcakes for the lucky doggie parents tomorrow. 🙂 I tried Caramel Cupcakes and I think they’re turning out pretty great! Anyways….today was the definition of “organized chaos”! But everyone showed up on time, with good attitudes, and we all had a blast getting pictures of the sweet pups. A HUGE thank you goes to my mom (who drove over from Jacksonville to help), and my dear friends Dale and Brianne who doggie wrangled. Also to Morgan and Courtney from LCHS for collecting the donations, and Jody for being my scrim assistant! Let me introduce you to just a handful of our new friends from today:
Meet Lacey, the cutest dog with the most gorgeous eyelashes! Do you see those things? They are for real!
Next, meet Pi, a long haired dachshund with lots of energy! We all fell in looove with this little guy:
Then we had Tipper, an insanely gorgeous Shetland Sheepdog with very good manners. His “brother” Connor also came but I just grabbed this one because it was super cute….wish them luck at the agility trials tomorrow!
I’m saving my favorite for last. When Tubbs, the pug, stuck his tongue out at me I knew it would be on the blog. This sums up the hilarity of our day!
Can’t wait for more fun tomorrow! I have more dogs plus 2 cats! For now, I’m turning in to bed….goodnight!

I had fun working with you, and getting to know you, your Mom, and your friends Dale and Brianne. Thank you for doing this AWESOME fundraiser for the companion animals of the Leon County Humane Society.

Oh. My. Gosh. OHMYGOSH! These are just fantastic!!! I am so proud of you for organizing this entire event and for being able to take on the task of non-human (although a couple of these could easily be mistaken . . . holy crap look at those lashes!) portraits! I really wish I could have been there to help out with the day. Congrats on such an amazing event–YOU ROCK!
