Leah & Michael | 9.10.11 St. George Island Wedding Photography

A lot of people got married last weekend – what a great anniversary date! 9.10.11! I’m glad Ryan and I got to spend the day with Leah, Michael and their families. We actually started off with them the night before at their sweet rehearsal where Leah and daughter Brooklin got baptized, then headed off to a beautiful dinner at the Owl Cafe (my fav restaurant in Apalachicola).

The atmosphere was pretty calm and relaxed – I guess you can’t help but feel relaxed when you’re getting ready on the beach. We had lots of time to do fun detail shots, and then headed to the beach for their 3:30pm ceremony. Leah looked stunning in her dress and Michael didn’t look too bad in his tan suit. 😉 The party continued to heat up as the sun went down and I think everyone had a great time!

Leah’s dress was nothing short of GORgeous and her shoes were pretty hot as well:

This one might win my award for favorite of the day, Leah’s little girl Brooklin looking up at her dress:

Brooklin was such a good little flower girl!

The benefit of having two shooters – Ryan’s shot on the left and mine on the right. I think they’re both important:

Overlooking the beautiful backyard at Aisle of Palms:

The 3 dances – First Dance, Leah with her dad, and Michael danced with his sister. They were all super sweet:

It took awhile for Michael to get the cake into Leah’s mouth…she didn’t seem to trust him!

There was no lack of delicious Apalachicola oysters at this reception!

Love this sweet family! (especially Brooklin):

I usually don’t post pics of just me, but I thought this one was funny that Ryan took:

The BEST investment I made for our wedding day was definitely booking Kylene and Ryan Studios! It was such a blessing to have you both there to capture all of the PERFECT moments of that day. You all made us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the lens and all around were pleasant to be around.

Kylene and Ryan are the worlds best photographers! Not only did I love every picture they took but they also were great to work with. I am not the greatest when it comes to taking pictures and knowing what I might like but they knew exactly what I wanted even when I didn’t. I would highly recommend them for every event.

They were the absolute best! So friendly, so fun and professional. The photos were amazing and they took the time to get some of the more ridiculous shots I requested. BONUS: they were amazing with our nephew. He is autistic. He was our ring-bearer and was having a difficult day, which isn’t unexpected for a day like that. Could not recommend enough.

Hands down, I would recommend Kylene & Ryan to anyone in a heartbeat. We used them for our engagement photos, a boudoir shoot for me, and our wedding photography. Every single time we saw their work, we were blown away. What first drew us to them was their beautiful work–but what also hooked us was how incredibly fun, sweet, professional, and hard-working they are.

Wow, what an incredible experience! It was such a joy working with this team. They had us laughing and enjoying every minute of our special day. And the pictures are STUNNING! They really went above and beyond to create unique and memorable moments we will cherish always.
