I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for what seems like forever! I like to think that Natalie and I would have met each other no matter what – her sister has been my next door neighbor for 4 years, and one of her best buddies is a past bride of mine. (and a faithful blog stalker, Hi Kira!) Natalie and Robert wanted a fun, casual affair so they could enjoy their friends and family and they did just that. The weather was beautiful last Saturday and all the details fell into place. When I walked into the bridal suite, Natalie literally jumped up and down to give me a hug then said “Let’s get this show on the road! Can I get into my dress yet!?” Her energy was contagious and she had a smile on her face ALL day!
Thanks for opening up your hearts to Ryan and me on your very special day. We were honored to be a part of it!

I love this moment and promise it was totally candid!
I loved so many of the “Getting Ready” pictures in black and white, especially this one of her dad seeing her in her dress for the first time:
I loved all of these ruffles!!
I love where we did their First Look. I think Natalie looks like a wood nymph emerging from the forest! 🙂
Gorgeous blue skies with puffy white clouds. Doesn’t get any better than this!
I love this one of the guys walking into the ceremony site. Robert has a rose in his hand to give to his mom…super sweet moment:
And I couldn’t pick which one I liked best of Natalie and her dad, so I posted two:
I love this shot Ryan got right before Natalie’s dad gave her away:
Here’s my sweet neighbor Amy! She did a reading during the ceremony, and also introduced them as Mr. and Mrs. right before they headed back down the aisle! I thought it was a great touch:
Another really great touch was one of Natalie’s bridesmaid bursting into song right after they had their first kiss. She sang “The Very Thought of You” by Billie Holiday….and it was awesome.
Since Natalie’s new last name is “York”, it wouldn’t have been complete without some York Peppermint Patties!
A couple more quick portraits as the sun started to go down:
And some funny moments during the reception:
