I’m kind of in denial that this wedding is already behind us! It seemed like so far in the future when Jessica first told us about her wedding plans, and now I’m blogging the pictures! Ryan and I have known Jessica for years….like, almost a decade. Jessica and I were seasonal photographers for Bob Knight Photo, and met at some point during our travels. The rest is history!
Their wedding was down in Miami, but Jessica was up in Tallahassee to finish her last semester at FSU, so we were able to do their engagement session up here. We made the trek down to Miami last weekend and were reminded of how awesome traffic is downtown on a Saturday afternoon! Jessica and Fede met while working at the Four Seasons Hotel, so that’s where Jessica got dressed and then they did their First Look out on the pool patio. Then a beautiful ceremony, an antique car getaway, and a gorgeous reception at Douglas Entrance (with plenty of portrait time sprinkled throughout). Thanks for such a great day you guys – those 11 hours went by in a blink!
Getting Ready: Four Seasons Hotel Miami
Ceremony: Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church
Reception: Douglas Entrance
Coordination, Disc Jockey and Catering: Exquisite Productions
Floral Design: Nevot Flower Designs
Cake Artist: Edda’s Cake Designs
Hair and Makeup Artist: Yaneth Gray
Videographer: Fred of Something Blue Media (such a pleasure to work with him, nicest guy ever!)
One of my absolute favorites that Ryan captured:
Yaneth was so professional and didn’t once get annoyed with me for moving her stuff around, or getting in her way trying to get a shot…. 😉
I love Fede’s reaction to seeing Jessica for the first time!
My beautiful, stunning friend with the electric smile:
The ballroom at Douglas Entrance was just stunning, especially with all of their decor in it. Check out those ceilings!
My new favorite cake topper! Very appropriate for a fellow photographer…
The details and florals were just beautiful!
Trying out something different…moody and romantic!
Then began the “Hora Loca”….Crazy Hour. And boy did it live up to its name! So fun!
Congratulations you guys! We had a blast spending the day with you and know you are having a great time on your honeymoon!
