It’s always amazing to me how we can spend a day with a group of people and feel like family the whole time. But we are blessed with clients like Beth and Tyler who did just that! Everyone we came in contact with that day made us feel welcomed, and I think we were able to get some truly beautiful pictures to document that.
Beth was possibly the most laid-back bride ever…but it really allowed her to relax and enjoy everything. Even when we couldn’t figure out how to corset up her dress for 30 minutes (or bustle it for 30 minutes at the reception), she just stayed calm and waited for things to fall into place. Tyler has a quiet confidence about him, and you can really tell that they are “at home” when they’re together. They balance each other out. We’re so excited to call them friends and can’t wait to see what life has in store for them!

Beth hosted a brunch for her family the morning of the wedding and the centerpieces were beautiful. All created from items that belonged to Beth and her family, including a picture to remember her grandparents with.
Quiche galore! I’m going to have to track this girl down for her pesto/prosciutto quiche. Never had anything quite like it!
They look like they’re ready to be married!
Wish I could take credit for my new favorite shoe shot…but it was Ryan who laid down on the ground for it, not me.
Jenifer hard at work on those curls!
The invitations were done on thin pieces of wood. Coolest. Thing. Ever.
Showing off her newly attached veil!
This was one of the sweetest moments of the day – Beth’s brother, Doug, came in to see her for the first time, and his reaction had everyone crying (especially his longtime girlfriend, Bianca). Love!
So handsome! He makes hot pink look good:
My and Ryan’s captures of Beth walking in with her dad. I kind of love the progression…the one on the left she looks so nervous, but as she gets closer to Tyler you see that smile spread across her face!
I need a caption for this photo. 🙂
The violinist was such a nice, sophisticated touch!
The wonderful June Watkins in action. The wording and delivery she used during the ceremony was so beautiful – it was really like a family friend was marrying them.
I love the look on their face right before their kiss. They had just exchanged their first gifts as husband and wife – red roses.
All of their family members right after their ceremony. The sweetest bunch around!
Eden Gardens had so many beautiful places to work with. We had fun exploring! (and Beth is really good at walking in those pink high heels!)
We chased the sunset towards Navarre and stopped a couple times on the way for some beach pictures:
My sunset interpretation here…
Since their friends hadn’t seen them yet for the ceremony, we decided to do a sparkler entrance into their reception to start it off right!
I loved their cake, made to mimic the design on Beth’s dress:

Ryan and Kylene, you guys never cease to amaze me! Your work is amazing! Of course having such a beautiful couple to photograph makes your job easier, I’m sure. We are so blessed to have been a part of this special day. We love you Mr. and Mrs. Strickland!
