I’m so excited and honored to share these pictures with you all! I got to go to Tennessee two weeks ago and witness the birth of my beautiful nephew, Easton Charles. I am so proud of his mommy, my younger sister, Sarah – I will probably never look at her the same way again. 😉 I got to spend his first week of life at their house and enjoyed changing diapers and keeping her company during midnight feedings. I took lots of silly video clips with my phone and keep watching them over and over now that I’m at home – I find myself missing him. So I’m also having fun going through these pictures because I get to see his sweet face!
There will be two blog posts, because we took pictures for THREE DAYS. It was exhausting for all of us…but I know they will treasure these pictures forever. I already am. (*little disclaimer* there are a LOT of different poses and hats and backdrops BECAUSE we took pictures for 3 days. This is not my normal deal for newborn shoots cause I don’t think you want me in your house for 3 days messing with your kid.) 🙂 Pretty much all of these hats are new in my arsenal, no more neglecting the boys just because they can’t wear prissy bows and stuff!
Usually you want newborns to be sleeping for their pictures, but he looks so sweet with them open in this one!
Easton’s daddy is a US Marine so we wanted to reflect that in a few shots:
This is on top of the dresser/changing table in his room. They painted that geometric pattern on the wall by taping it all off! (thanks Liana for the help on that!)
Sarah is planning to take his picture each month in this chair with his “E” pillow to show how much he grows. We had to start off with a newborn one:
