I can’t believe I haven’t posted any of these pictures yet! What a slacker! We are still overwhelmed by the support and love from our friends, family, colleagues and clients on August 17th when we hosted an Open House at our new studio, and unveiled our new branding. It was such a stressful month leading up to it, but we were really able to relax and enjoy the evening. We took just a few pictures ourselves of some detail stuff, but as people started arriving we put the camera down to mingle. I was so grateful when our friend, Steve Madden (no, not the shoe guy), came with his lovely wife on their “date night”, and picked up my camera and started taking pictures of us with our buddies. I’m really thankful to have these pictures, so thank you Steve!!

We are planning to photograph the studio in more detail and maybe even do a little video tour, and will post that on our website when it’s finished. But for now, here’s a few shots from the event, and our awesome support system who came to celebrate with us.

Missy Gunnels Flowers and Edna Hall with A Touch of Class Florist for bringing gorgeous floral arrangements for our event. I cried when I saw them.

Diane Roberts of Party Party Party, who showed up 30 minutes early with ‘Congrats’ balloons, and begged us to put her to work or have her go run an errand.

Erich Breedlove with Black Fig who not only provided some amazing food, but also took care of our guests and handled drinks, food, cleanup, you name it.

We had several people bring us bottles of wine (one bottle I don’t know who brought it!), so thank you to Judy Alexander, and Shannon Reeves with Shannon Reeves Events for being so thoughtful.

And my dear friend Terri Smith brought us a bag full of goodies, including black be-dazzled scissors, tape dispenser, pen and stapler. (she said she was going to get pink, but since Ryan was joining forces with me, she went with black.) 🙂
