When I looked back over some paperwork I realized that Bethany and Jason hired me in August of 2009. I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for 14 months! It wasn’t a disappointment that’s for sure, no detail was overlooked and they were laid back and happy the entire day! They had some truly beautiful details and this blog post is stuffed full of them. I know they’re enjoying their honeymoon in Costa Rica but hopefully they can sneak away to a computer to see their pictures! I get to see them in 2 weeks when they bring their dog, Zoe, out for my Sit. Stay. Smile! event! Keep an eye out for her, she served as the “flower dog” and is sooooo cute!

The gorgeous bouquets from Bella Flora:
Bethany looked far and wide until she found the perfect lace for her custom made gown:
There were so many fun details! I especially loved the homemade jelly display with their new monogram, ‘G’:
Believe it or not this shot was completely organic! I just turned around and they were posed like this, I think it’s so sweet:
I love the chocolate brown tuxes the guys wore from Vows Tuxedos:
More gorgeous florals by Bella Flora:
Love! My favorite of the two of them:
I love this series cause it shows off every angle of Bethany’s gorgeous dress:
Annnnnd one of my favorite ceremony pictures ever. I have a soft spot for doggies so this melts my heart!
I love all the different shapes of the red bridesmaid dresses from J. Crew:
I have never seen such a beautiful spread of cheese, fruit and crackers! They had a real piece of honeycomb and guests just scraped some off onto their plate:
And I was also kind of obsessed with the potato bar. They had regular and sweet mashed potatoes along with every topping imaginable. Heaven!
Being announced as husband and wife! I think this picture showcases SouthWood so well with a bright, elegant and fun feel:
The gorgeous cake from Katie’s!
They also had a huge table filled with little mini pumpkin pies, M&M’s in their wedding colors and a few other treats:
After they cut the cake, they did a toast from Jason’s mom’s antique cup. I believe it’s from Germany!? You see how they have to tip it and fill both sides with a drink and then work together to drink from each end? I thought it was so cool! That’s also his mom’s cake knife, engraved from her wedding in 1973.
They were really smart and did an “entrance” to the dance floor right after cutting the cake! That way all the guests were still around (and so was I!) and it was a fun way to get the party started. I love Beth’s frame on the left and mine on the right:
Time to get the party started! It didn’t matter that it was an afternoon wedding, they were ready to dance thanks to Bill Kelly’s DJ skills!
