Happy Thursday! I’ve decided Thursday is my favorite day of the week – it’s almost Friday, but that means I can still get some things done the next day before enjoying the weekend or setting out to shoot a wedding! A few weeks ago I got to head down to Winter Park for a bridal show at the beautiful Casa Feliz! It’s a gorgeous old house – guests wandered throughout and all the vendors were set up in the hallways and rooms. We were in a nice room right off the main house and got to mingle a lot with the vendors too! They were all a blast! I did a few video clips and took some pictures of our setup, and I also have a new sample album to share with you! It was a huge hit at the show, I was really proud of it. 🙂
Vendors featured (the ones whose info I got):
Casa Feliz, venue where the bridal show was held – the website doesn’t quite do it justice! It’s a gorgeous location for a wedding! Hope I can shoot there sometime soon! 🙂
Chris & Ryan Parmerlee with Parms Porta Party (DJ) (515)202-0840 chrisparmerlee@yahoo.com – I’m not sure if I can explain the hilarity of these two brothers, you can get a short glimpse of them on the video. We had a blast talking and exchanging wedding experiences, and as we started packing up they blasted some music and we had a little dance break. I’m sure they would be an asset to any wedding or party!
Cathy Wanat with Custom Cake Studio (407)353-9978 cathy@customcakestudio.com – Ms. Cathy had it going on! We were the first two that arrived and spent a lot of time talking, she’s so super sweet! But what’s sweeter were her amazing cake samples and truffles! Anything that combines coconut with gold rum is good by me.
April Dorsey with The D-Tales Event Planning (407)687-6552 april@thedtales.com – I turned my back for two minutes and April had whipped up such a cool centerpiece area on her table! I won’t give away her secrets, but let’s just say she’s super smart and imaginative. I think she would be a no-brainer to have on your wedding day team!

Yes, that’s my adorable mommy helping me. 🙂
I got to introduce the new Boudoir division of Forever Photography which was a big hit with the grooms! There were a lot of elbow nudges going on – “Honey! (nudge, nudge) THAT’S what I want for a wedding gift!” I also had little takeout boxes filled with FP goodies for everyone! You KNOW you want some chapstick!
Here is my gorgeous new sample album! It’s 8×20 inches closed and opens up to a beautiful 16×20 spread! This one has golden ostrich binding with a Gold Diffusion acrylic cover:
See how it opens up so you can see the first picture? I loved keeping it clean and simple, these bouquets by Heather Ivy Designs are gorgeous too!
It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but the album is printed on metallic paper with a fine linen texture. The colors just scream off the page – everyone at the show kept wondering why it looked so great and they didn’t realize at first that it was the paper, but it makes a serious impact!
Wow sissy…I love the big tri-fold backdrop you have set up!! Awesome!
Awesome! Love the 3 tall canvas in the back. They came out great! I
Ooooohhh I love the new album that opens up! Very cute!
