Meet Reva & Travis

How did the two of you meet?
We worked together at the State of Florida for about a year before we ever met, we officially met March, 2007 at the Chili Cook Off.  We just happened to be with the same group of people and he walked up to me and my friends and said Hey, I know you and I was like No you don’t, he said yeah you work at the Larson Building with me. Well we took a picture together and talked a little and then the following Monday he came to visit me at work and the rest is history.

What is your fantasy honeymoon destination and why?
We haven’t talked about the honeymoon a lot. We both would like to go to Vegas because we think it would be a fun experience, but I would also like to go to Hawaii or some where to the beach! I wouldn’t even mind just traveling.

What style wedding are you envisioning and what’s your color scheme?
An outdoor wedding, at sunset in front of a lake on a gazebo. My color scheme is Spa and pink.

Meet Melissa & Brian

How did the two of you meet?
Brian and I met in high school.  We were both in the band and I actually dragged my mom to his church to get to know him better.  His father was the youth pastor and we’ll the story behind those “pastor sons” is true!!  We are polar opposites in a lot of ways, yet  we have known since the beginning that we were going to spend the rest of our lives together.  Now ten years later and we are about to make it official!

Describe each other in 3 words.
Brian:  Spontaneous.  Eclectic.  Loyal.
Missy:  Smart.  Fun.  Challenging.

What is your fantasy honeymoon destination and why?
Vienna, Austria.  Romance, History and Music.  The three building blocks of our relationship.  This place would have everything and anything to keep us entertained and yearning for more.

What style wedding are you envisioning and what’s your color scheme?
We are having our wedding at a Rustic Mansion on an acre of gardens, therefore I am going for a Modern Garden Theme with elements of “rustic”.  Our colors are marine blue, apple green and a splash of fuchsia.

Meet Jessica & Dave

How did the two of you meet?
We initially met at church camp when I was in high school and David was running sound for the programs.  We only exchanged a few words, but remembered that encounter a few years later when our paths crossed paths at church again.

Describe each other in 3 words.
Jessica:  The three words I would use to describe David are loyal, steady, and considerate.
David:  Jessica is witty, beautiful, and engaging.

What is your fantasy honeymoon destination and why?
We both love to travel, but we wanted a honeymoon that didn’t require a ton of hassle during our first few days of marriage. We decided that a cruise would be the perfect fit for us.  Therefore, in a way, we’ll actually be taking our ideal honeymoon trip since we booked a cruise a few weeks ago!

What style wedding are you envisioning and what’s your color scheme?
The colors of our wedding are Tiffany blue and red.  That naturally dictates a fun atmosphere, but we’re balancing that with a few elegant touches since we believe that this is a holy event and want to honor that.

Meet Carolina & Nicholas

How did the two of you meet? We met while working at Bill’s Bookstore.  I had only been working there for a few days when we met.   I had seen him walking into the store with his backpack on  and I approached him to request he put his bag in a cubby like I would ask from any other customer walking into the store.  He introduced himself and I then realized that he was actually one of my supervisors.  Before I knew it I had a crush on him and my poor friends had to put up with my “will he or won’t he” ask me out talk during Oceanography.  An eternity later we went out on our first date (where I successfully finished off my entire dinner and then started in on his).  Ever since then we’ve been together and he’s realized that he needs to eat faster 🙂

Nicholas is funny, intelligent and he’s my turtle .
Carolina is my beautiful, Peruvian tulip.

What is your fantasy honeymoon destination and why? Our fantasy honeymoon would be to spend a week in the Mediterranean.  When we travel we like the opportunity to do day trips to different areas nearby and this part of Europe lends itself very well to this.  There are so many historical landmarks and beaches to explore.

What style wedding are you envisioning and what’s your color scheme? Our wedding style is traditional with a Southern twist.  Our venue is formal but we plan on  keeping it more casual with mason jar style centerpieces and good ole Southern cooking.  Our wedding colors are lavender and ivory with hints of red.

Meet Bethany & Jason

How did the two of you meet? We were set up on a blind date! (Yes, really!) We met at a restaurant and some of Jason’s friends ended up “crashing” our date (they were watching us from a table nearby). Once we realized what was going on, we invited his friends over to join us and we all had a great time!

What is your fantasy honeymoon destination and why?
Our fantasy honeymoon destination is Costa Rica! We are researching beach destinations that will be nice and warm in October. We can’t say no to tropical rainforests, secluded beaches, waterfalls, and even active volcanoes! To us, Costa Rica is the perfect combination of relaxation and adventure.

What style wedding are you envisioning and what’s your color scheme?
Wedding style: Vintage elegance- a wedding under the oaks of a historic Southern home with lots of vintage charm.  Our colors are dark red and chocolate brown (with touches of pale blue).

Meet Emily & Paul

How did the two of you meet?

I am a newly engaged bride to be to my college sweetheart Paul.  Paul and I met through a friend that he went to high school with.  I just happened to take a couple of classes with his friend Shannon one summer at FSU.  As the class went on Shannon and I become very close friends.  Towards the end of the semester she said she wanted me to meet a guy friend of hers who was her boyfriend’s roommate.  She thought he would be a good match for me.  She knew what she was doing and boy was she right because three years and two months later their friend Paul asked me to marry him.  If Shannon and I did not take the same courses, become friends in a class full of people, or if Paul and his friends did not go to FSU I don’t know if our paths would have crossed.   We are very thankful for Shannon and yes of course she is in the wedding.

Paul’s three words for me:  Warm, Compassionate, Generous
Us:  Eternal, Natural, Precious

What’s your fantasy honeymoon destination and why? Hawaii is our fantasy honeymoon destination. It is our first choice because of the many adventures it provides.  The enchanting islands of Hawaii would offer a very magical experience where we could begin our new journey together.  The Islands would give us the tranquility of the ocean at the same time would offer the many outdoor adventures Paul and I love to go on.

What style wedding are you envisioning and what’s your color scheme?
The wedding style we are hoping for is Traditional and Elegant. The color scheme we are planning is a collection of the colors sage green or soft-pastel green and white with peach and yellow accent colors to match the flowers.
