Where do I start with THIS one?? I’ll just try… We’ve been friends with Caroline and Jake for years now. When they got engaged and then started planning a destination wedding to Tennessee, we were overjoyed that they wanted us to be a part of it. Our creative juices really get pumping when we’re in a new location, and this was no exception! We loved getting to celebrate and document such an awesome day for these two. We got to see some old friends and even made some new ones with an awesome group of vendors in Chattanooga! Huge shout out to Shaun of Cue the Champagne for being so thorough, and also not throwing me out the window with some last minute changes to the timeline. I hope our paths cross again!
The very first time we met Caroline (her friends fondly refer to her as “Capper”, her maiden name, but I’m not sure what will happen with that now!) she had just moved to Tallahassee from Iowa to work for the photography company that Ryan worked for for over 15 years. That night I had a surprise birthday party planned for Ryan where a limo took us barhopping around town, and our friend Carla asked if Caroline could come – she was new to town and didn’t have anyone to hang out with. It ended up being quite the raucous evening, and she was quickly indoctrinated into the clan. She’s been hard at work on her studies and just completed her Masters earlier this spring, but somehow was able to find time to snag Jake! We were so excited to meet him and bring him into the fold too. They helped us celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in Apalachicola last February, and we were honored to celebrate such an awesome day in their lives. Cheers you two!
