Ahhh, the last wedding in our spring/summer season! And what a wedding it was. We are so thankful to know these two, and they have become wonderful friends. We first met Byron in our weekly BNI (leads) group and we quickly hit it off with him and his partner, Will. Then when Byron proposed to Jessica, we insisted on a meeting. Thankfully we hit it off with Jessica and her mom too (since usually the groom just lets the bride make all the big decisions). 😉
Jessica had the largest group of girls we had ever seen in her bridal party – I think the final total was 14 – and her mom and sister explained that they ALL had to be included because they were all close friends. “If you’re friends with Jessica, she’s all in. No half-friendships with her.” I thought that was a wonderful testament to the type of woman she is, and it made it more clear why Byron is so smitten with her. Both families couldn’t have been more welcoming to us, and for that, we’re always grateful. Enjoy your sneak peek!
Ceremony: Trinity Community Church (I can’t say enough about the experience we had here. We’ve never had “church ladies” tell us we had free reign, and help us with anything we needed. Thanks for putting your trust in us, thank you Kris!)
Reception: Mission San Luis (we have loved all these MSL weddings this spring!)
Floral Design: Terri Platt and Megan Dell’Aringa with Floral Expressions from Oswego, Illinois (brides aunt and cousin)
Cake Artist: Katie’s Cakes and Catering
Disc Jockey: Randy Rust of Pro Disc Jockeys
Catering: Catering Capers
Rental Items: Diane Roberts with Party Party Party
Hair Stylist: Kelly Stephens of Kelly’s Cottage
Makeup Artist: Patty Kirk (friend of the bride)
Bridal Gown Alterations: Hayley Lauren Couture
If this doesn’t make your eyes tear up, then I don’t know what will…
That is one massive bridal party!
Of course it started sprinkling a little bit as we were wrapping up our portraits….
Always a gorgeous job on the cake by Katie! I was also in love with their favors, a coffee and tea bar! Make your own little burlap bags with different roasts to take home!
Jessica’s dad is a college basketball coach, so after giving a welcome toast, he brought everyone out onto the dance floor for a little “team huddle”:
I love Jessica’s dad in the background!
You guys are the best! Thanks for a great day.
