Abby and Kevin might be two of the most even-keeled people we’ve worked with. First of all, Abby only JUST harassed me yesterday about where the heck her belated blog post was (Christmas portrait season is in full-swing and I’m trying to stay ahead)! They also had some wedding-day challenges to overcome. I won’t spend too much time rehashing them, but every bump in the road they handled TOGETHER with grace. When Abby’s makeup artist didn’t show up, Kevin came over to see her even though she wasn’t ready for their First Look – you could tell that his presence helped to calm her down and figure out what to do next. Everyone pulled together and made the day go off without a hitch, including moving the ceremony inside because of impending rain.
The example that they showed was something special to witness. My favorite moment was when they finally DID have their real First Look, they wanted to run through their vows together. They were so emotional, and the vows were so sweet/funny/sincere, that it had me tearing up behind the lens. A good wedding always does that to me. 😉
Thanks also to my good friend Jessica, who helped second shoot this wedding with me! Her turn to tie the knot is coming up next February!

They both love all things Disney, and their first dance was to the song “Promise” which plays during the Epcot fireworks every night! Kevin proposed at the Hall of Presidents at the Magic Kingdom, and they honeymooned at Disney as well. 😉
