There was a reason October 12 stayed empty on our calendar – we just didn’t know it until a few weeks before! Jordan and Nick decided rather last minute to have a more “formal” affair for their nuptials (instead of eloping), and put something rather awesome together on such short notice. Even for NOT being last minute it was awesome!
Nick is co-owner of this awesome place in Tallahassee called Old School. I had never heard of it until they contacted me, but just think about the movie “Old School” with Will Ferrell and you don’t need much more explanation (except that it’s cleaner and classier). It was such a cool change of pace and they were the perfect couple for it. We’re so thrilled we were able to capture their day.
It was also great to work with Edna again from A Touch of Class Florist! Not only did she do all the florals, but she was their coordinator as well and did an amazing job transforming the place (she got an early 4am start that day). Love you Edna!
Enjoy the sneak peek guys, more to come soon!
Ceremony and Reception Venue: Old School
Floral Design and Coordination: Edna Hall with A Touch of Class Florist
Cake Designer: personal friend who drove both cakes up from Naples, if my memory serves correctly! We scored a slice of cake and it was divine!
Entertainment: Keith Taylor Band (I think these guys have known Jordan for a long time, so she let them pick out all the first dance songs as a surprise. It was really cool to watch that unfold)
Catering: 101 Restaurant (not only was the food delicious, but the staff was impeccable and so wonderful to us)
Jordan’s eyes….they kill me! So pretty!
One of my favorite First Looks ever. Since they were so close to campus, we came over to Landis Hall and I set them up in this cool tunnel. I love it:
Our first ever pictures at Wescott with a bride and groom! Soooo fun!
I love this totally candid shot Ryan got on our way back to the car. Nick was a busy man that day!
Edna’s beautiful, cheery sunflower details:
I love Jordan’s expression when she realizes they’re not going to fit very well coming down the stairs! Priceless!
Old School cleaned up great for a wedding! I think the chivari chairs were an important touch. 😉
An “aerial” view of the groom’s cake on the right:
The crew including Edna! Group effort! We had a blast, thanks guys. 🙂
