This is our first blog post on the NEW blog!! With our NEW branding! Poor Chrissy and Darin are probably a little confused since I had kept the rebranding a secret – they hired us under Forever Photography and now I’m blogging their wedding under Kylene and Ryan Studios! I think they’ll forgive me though. And this blog post has been long overdue.
There are so many special touches to this wedding – that kind of stuff makes me all mushy gushy! Chrissy has an amazing Irish heritage and a lot of that was integrated into her details. She pinned something quite special to her bouquet – her great-grandfather’s medal for participation in the 1916 Irish Uprising issued by the first president of Ireland, Eamon de Valera. It was threadbare and I was worried I might damage it, but it was so neat to photograph! Chrissy’s parents and Darin’s dad were also quite amazing – just the happiest people who had nothing but love for their children on their wedding day. Chrissy’s dad gave a toast – I wish I had it recorded because it was the most touching thing I’ve ever heard. (I know John with Siberian Pictures got it though!)

See the medal on Chrissy’s bouquet? So cool:
I had to be “Crouching Tiger Hidden Photographer” and crawl through plants to get this shot! But it was worth it to not get only the back of their heads:
Chrissy’s parents are just too sweet:
See their date spelled out on the right?
We love this couple. Guinness on your wedding day? Yes!
I loved the blue uplighting that the DJ provided:
They had quite the coordinated First Dance!
I will just let you think this picture was super romantic and easy to capture. I won’t tell you how it rained buckets on us as soon as we got in place….nope, I won’t!
