This wedding was unique and wonderful to me in so many ways. First of all, I didn’t meet Sage and Justin until their wedding day which isn’t usually how things go for me. There’s always an element of nervousness when that happens, but these two and their entire family welcomed me with open arms. It really blew me away and I was so grateful to be a part of their day! I would have to describe their wedding as “organic” – they were all so relaxed and calm and just enjoyed every minute. The location was very natural and inspiring, Sage’s bouquet was absolutely gorgeous (made by her sister, a talented florist in town!), she had flowers in her hair and they had the most amazing food. I’ve seriously never enjoyed a meal more at a wedding – they bugged me 3 times to sit down and eat and I’m glad I did. Coconut shrimp, jasmine rice with cranberries, filet mignon, citrus atlantic salmon, roasted sweet potatoes with cinnamon, summer salad…..the list goes on. It was awesome.
I’m even more excited that I get to meet up with them again tomorrow for their Glam Session before they head home to North Carolina! So there will be more of them to come on the blog. 🙂 A huge thanks to my good friend (and former bride) Beth Johnson for all her help! Now, on to the sneak peek!

First Look smile!
I love the POP of color from her bouquet – it goes perfectly with the surroundings because they kind of look like wildflowers:
These two were up for anything, including a little fun on the swings:
Those are her real eyelashes, jealous huh? I just love this look, she’s lucky to have so much natural beauty!
Two words – Tasty Pastry. Need I say more?
Cassia created this beautiful heart for their ceremony site:
These next two are two of my favorite ceremony pictures ever. I love their expressions while Sage reads her vows:
I usually don’t post “formal” pics, but I thought this was a great example of how to have a little fun with them and make it less formal:
Here’s Beth posing for me while I play with my flash. 🙂
Gorgeous red door image!
