Happy Thursday everyone!  I’m busy wrapping up the next VideoShow from Leslie and Justin’s wedding last week, and charging batteries for Kira and Wesley’s wedding this coming weekend!  Can’t wait!!  Just a few things I’m loving this week…..

First up, I have a new special member of the family.  You’ll all get to know “her” pretty closely if I’m photographing you anytime soon.  🙂  Meet my new camera:

The ironic thing is that I took a picture of my fabulous new camera with my iPhone, so the quality isn’t all that great.  To make it the perfect combo I’ve got a 50mm f/1.2 lens on there along with my trademark polka dotted strap.  I think it’s perfection!  An awesome new feature on this baby is Hi-Definition video capabilities.  So you better believe I’ll be incorporating that into upcoming VideoShows – for weddings and portrait sessions!

Ok, mop up the drool, and let’s move onto my current favorite TV show, GLEE!

I am just a music fan in general, so the musical style of this show just makes me giddy!  Ryan downloaded the soundtrack for me and I’ve been jamming out to it for 3 days straight now.  Lea Michele (pictured above) has the most incredible voice ever…don’t know how she hits those notes.  Gives me goosebumps!  Check it out and let me know if you are a “Gleek” too!

Ryan and I are taking a big trip next week.  We’re heading all the way on the opposite side of the globe to Singapore!!  His brother and family just moved there so we’re going for a visit!  We’re planning out our week with lots of fun activities, but I can’t stop thinking about how fun it would be to do a shoot over there!  Engagement, Glam, wedding?!  🙂  I’m sure it’s a long shot, but if you’re in Singapore or know anyone who is, get in touch with me ASAP!  It’s a pretty small island so I’m sure we can make arrangements to meet up!  I’m planning to post a picture-a-day while we’re away, of the sights (and maybe even sounds!) so keep an eye out for those starting late next week!
