When things started getting crazy in March, never did I guess that we would be postponing our JUNE weddings! Now June seems like a lifetime ago also…praying our fall schedule can hold on. (fingers crossed)
We had never even gotten to meet Kelly and Ryan, but Kelly and I had a great social media friendship going. I loved watching all the fun things she was baking and we would always comment on each other’s things. So when she emailed to let me know that they were postponing their big party, but still wanted an intimate ceremony so they could get married on their original wedding date, we were so excited to share that with them. John Gandy, Emily and Darin were onsite to make sure even the tiniest details were in place (there were more “Friendors” than actual family members!) Kelly ordered a more “simple” dress for this ceremony and promises her “real” one will be a stunner. I can’t even imagine….
Their ceremony was so special too because the wonderful Reverend Abigail W. Moon from their church at St. John’s Episcopal was still able to perform it for them. I wish I had a transcript of her service…it was so perfect and updated for the current situation, and better yet, everyone in the room got to hear it word for word.
Enjoy a glimpse into the sweetest day that is sure to put a huge smile on your face!
