Details & Pricing Info

When we planned our own wedding (in 2007!) we learned how stressful it was to prepare for our big day. We finally realized that there’s more than just the photographer to deal with, so we promise to make that detail the easiest for you.
We have 6 different collections to choose from ranging from $2,500-$8,500 so there should definitely be something perfect to suit your needs.  Our base package is for those who don’t need any additional frills, and all of our other packages include a complimentary engagement session, and your edited, high resolution engagement and wedding day images on our custom skeleton key USB drive.  Most packages even include a custom Storybook Album!
Fill out the form on the “Connect” page to get in touch, we can’t wait to hear from you!

What style of photography do you provide?

Kylene & Ryan typically work in a photojournalistic, unobtrusive style. This is the best way to capture those sweet, candid moments throughout your day. While we are mostly “hands-off” when it comes to posing, we do request some time to photograph you together as a couple. We will give you some general instructions, but mostly we just want to capture you in your element! During your reception, we will capture all the details & lots of fun images of your guests enjoying the party.

Are Kylene and Ryan the only photographers? Who exactly will be photographing our wedding?

Yes, Kylene & Ryan are the only primary photographers with the Studio. Many of our collections include both of us, & our top tier collection even includes a third shooter to provide more angles & even better video coverage. The Pearl & Bronze collections include Kylene or Ryan alone (typically Kylene unless she is already booked). The exception to this rule is if you book our VideoShow coverage, which requires two photographers. We would then both attend, even if you book the Pearl or Bronze collections (an added bonus!).

How many of your couples see each other before the ceremony?

The “First Look” has become much more popular over the past couple of years (we did it at our own wedding in 2008)! About 75% of our couples choose to do this, & there are many benefits. No bride has ever said it ruined the moment of walking down the aisle to her groom. Instead, they felt it was a great opportunity to spend some alone time together which they would never have had. It’s the perfect way to make sure we have time for lots of special images of you two together, plus it allows you to make it to your reception in time for cocktail hour!

Can you hold the date for me? When should we book you?

Unfortunately, we can’t hold the date or “pencil you in”. To be fair to everyone, we can’t hold a date without a retainer & a contract. We accept bookings on a first come/first serve basis. You should book us as soon as you have set your date & booked a venue. Popular months book up early (12-18 months in advance) so it’s best to book as soon as possible.

What is your payment schedule like?

A non-refundable retainer of $1,000 is due to reserve your date. The retainer is required to be paid by check, but after that, any other payments may be done via credit card. 90 days before your wedding date you will have a payment due of 50% of your remaining balance. Then your final payment is the remainder, due 14 days before your wedding date. All packages will have sales tax applied to them on your final payment. We do our contract electronically, so when you’re ready to book, just let us know & we’ll email you a link that will take you through the process - very eco-friendly! (once a payment is made it is then non-refundable)

Can we swap out the engagement session from our package for another type of shoot?

We’re really hoping you will allow us to photograph an engagement session for you! We love the chance to get to know you better, & you can get used to being photographed! If you still decide not to have the session or live out of town, it can be swapped for one additional hour of coverage on your wedding day only.

Do we get to keep the “negatives”?

Yes! We provide the edited high-resolution digital files from your wedding with all packages on our custom skeleton key USB drives. We do retain the copyright to the images and the right to use them for promotional purposes, competition, professional review, and so on. There will be a printable release on your USB that will allow you to make unlimited personal reproductions & copies for yourself. If your collection includes an engagement session, you will receive those edited files via a download link from the web.

Are you insured and what kind of equipment do you use?

We are definitely insured with $1,000,000 in coverage and can provide documentation if your wedding venue requires it. We use Canon equipment and have 4 camera bodies between us with 7 L Series lenses plus even more for backup.
