Words can’t express how amazing this day was! Cari and Matt became fast friends (probably didn’t hurt that we ran into them at 4th Quarter bar shortly after they booked us and shared a few drinks), and we were so excited for their wedding day to arrive. The weather was gorgeous, and every detail had been planned to a T. It was quite the dream-team of vendors I will say that!
There were so many memorable moments – from Matt saying “Hell Yeah” in response to “Do you Matt take this woman to be your wife….etc.”, to them pulling up a buried bottle of whiskey and drinking a shot before recessing back up the aisle, or Officiant Sara Michaels bursting into song with a verse from Matt’s favorite movie, “Blazing Saddles” (I promise she tied it into the ceremony). The ceremony itself was so emotional, I scolded them all for making me teary eyed behind my camera. 😉
Thank you for welcoming us into your lives and allowing us to document this most special day. We are glad to call you both “friends”.

Cari took a swatch from one of her dad’s dress shirts and sewed it into her dress along with “Love you Daddy”. I thought it was such a sweet tribute:
Cari…you’re quite the stunner:
Cari’s dad was with them in spirit on her wedding day. She gifted Matt one of his watches and engraved it, “Someone to watch over me”:
The happy couple with fur baby Gator:
I had to post these of Sara. I think they showcase her jovial personality perfectly:
Cari walked the boardwalk by herself, and met her two brothers at the foot of the stairs to escort her the rest of the way:
I always turn to get the groom’s expression when he first sees the bride. I snapped a few, then turned to get Cari’s angle, when I heard a little girl whispering, “Matt’s crying, Matt’s crying!”. So I whipped back around and got this…my favorite:
Here they are pulling up the bottle of whiskey they buried a month prior. Rumor has it that you’ll be blessed with good weather on your wedding day if you do:
These florals…they just kept going and going….so beautiful:
Matt’s Whiskey and Cigar Bar was quite the attraction!
Trying something new with the sparklers. C + M
Thanks for an awesome night you two! Ryan wasn’t having any fun at all…
